Married. At seven o'clock last Friday evening, the parlor of Mrs. E. B. Leary, on Main street, was the scene of a very interesting and happy marriage of her daughter. In the presence of the family and a few friends, Rev. J. E. White, of Edenton, tied the knot and Miss Willie Leary became Mrs. Henry Keaton. After the congratulations of those present cake and wine were served. The bride was attired in cream cashmere, with gold orna ments,' while the groom was be comingly dressed in an evening suit. Miss Bettie Parrish and D. 0. Jacksin acted as waiters, The happy couple were the recipients of many valuable presents, which we mention below: J. G. Gran berry, one dozen tea plates; C. W. Morgan & Co., one crayon picture ; Mrs. J. Q. A. Wood, pair linen to.vels; D. C. Jackson, cream set; Annie Parrish, berry bowl ; Mary Parrish, cake stand ; Bettie Parrish berry bowl; Mrs. E. B. Leary, cream set ; Mrs. C. H. Horton, cake stand, celery dish and din ger stand; Mrs. Ida V. Keaton, one counterpane; B. D. Kramer, set of cream bowls; Mr. Vernon, French clock. There were several other valuable presents from their relatives which we do not mention. We wish them a bon voyage over the sraoflife, without a wave of trouble, and that at last they may anchor in the haven of rest. David Gasking back again, is with N. Baker.
